					<description>Wilberforce and Shaftesbury were both ardent Tories and supporters of the Church of England and their reforming interests were grounded in that sense of shoring up the moral foundations of Britain and highly paternalistic evangelicalism.  Just the sorts of things that will translate especially well to the US in 2007.</description>
