The latest TAC is now online. Articles available online are Kelley Beaucar Vlahos’ good cover story on private military contractors, Peter Hitchens on North Korea, Kara Hopkins’ devastating review of Gerson’s Heroic Conservatism, plus Leon Hadar and my column on Islamofascism.

Hadar’s piece is hilarious. Conservatives aren’t supposed to be funny. Ergo, Hader is not a Conservative.
Your piece suffered from being read after Hadar–I kept waiting for the punchline. Other than that (and an unsupported disquisition on the use of the term “Islamophobia”– I mean, you really wanna assert that its not an apt description of Islamofascism Awareness Week?) I liked it.

Nice article Mr. Larison. I think its worth noting that comparing Arab statesmen to Hitler is nothing new. Bush I did it with Saddam, the Ayatollah’s book was republished in America under “Khomeni’s Mein Kampf”, and then there’s Nasser,. Nasser’s union with Syria was called a “Anschluss” by Commentary Magazine, he was called a “Couscous Mussolini” by the Saturday Evening Post”, and Time Magazine said that Nasser reminded them of another mustachioed dictator from the 1930s.
