I'm glad to hear that even those who don't always agree with me find something worthwhile here. It's perfectly fair to call me a crank--I recently referred to myself as a "reactionary crank" in a message to a friend of mine--since there would be something very wrong with a sunny, optimistic reactionary. A reactionary without crankiness is like a garden without flowers--it's just not right. Thanks to you all.
