So, on the two issues that many conservatives take to be the two most important right now, he had nothing to say. I haven't heard any reports that he mentioned immigration. I'd like to be corrected if I'm wrong; I feel like someone would have mentioned it, as his stance is I believe pretty undeclared at the moment. So it's telling that Lowry thinks he checked off every box, noticing only their precious Iraq war as an exception. Taking a stand on immigration is somewhat risky too, the GOP elites being so at odds with the public.
