Thank you for such a succinct riposte to Mr Bramwell's denigration of "ancestral attachments" &#38;c. When I was first sent his article, earlier this week, that was the section that stuck in my craw. You have saved me the time and effort of a formal reply; I only regret that you have denied me the pleasure it would have entailed.
