					<description>It seems to me that Peters believes in the superiority of "reason" and what issues from it; he just can't see how it can prevail over blind or subservient attachment to [non-rational] tradition, except perhaps eventually through increasing economic opportunities and the handling of globalization in the "right way" which removes all of its negative effects.</description>
